Deerio the antlerless

After many years focused into traditional art, just using paper, pens and colours, and not that often a small Bamboo for Photoshop... I allowed myself to give it a try and purchase something that I always thought I could find interesting, a Cintiq. This is my first take at drawing a character with it.

"Deerio the antlerless", as they commonly know him, was just having his morning walk as usual. He wasn't interested in mating anymore as you may know, that was buried deep long ago for this mature fellow. But something that not many others knew was, that he actually had his worries about his... boldness... yes. After long time giving it a thought, he visited Castor to put and end to this situation getting a brand new, long and beautiful horsetail. Sweet one eh? He is having some nice looks today, maybe now he is going to have to re-think about the mating matter.
